One sleep to go
Howdy all,
Well here we are; 1 day to go! With a week to go and being on holidays I finally became motivated to check that we are all sorted, only to find that Lisa has done an enormous job in getting us all organized for the trip. She’s a champion-I knew there was I reason I married her!

We ended coming to Sydney a day early because our bags were all packed and the weather was crap in Port Macquarie (no better in Sydney mind you). We arrived at Lisa’s parents place to our 2 very excited dogs (Bonnie and Clyde) who I brought down 2 weeks ago; luckily as it turned out, as our car was chock-a-block. I am the only member of the family who hasn’t slipped base over apex on slime whilst running the dogs around in the nearby stormwater drains.

We have been wined and dined since arriving; 3 course lunches and dinners aplenty. We had long lunch at the Cricketers Arms today. Mum came down to see us off, along with aunty Carmel, Dee, Pat and Kathie (Lisa’s mum and dad), Julie (sister in law) and her kids Kris, Jade and Lilly. We are glad that the day that has been so long coming is now just one sleep away. We will see some of you soon and some of you later.
