We have arrived in Carcasonne. It has an amazing history. If you get the chance there is a book out at the moment by Kate Mosse called Labrinyth. A really good read and story, however, throughout it give a lot of history without seeming like a text book. An easy read.
Carcasonne is lovely. We are staying at a lovely hotel. We decided to get a nice room as we had been so cramped for a week. The boys have enjoyed the freedom to stay in the hotel if we decide to go for a walk. We are only a five minute walk to the walls of Carcassone. They are both tired and are over ruins castle and anything to do with history. However, they are in for a treat for the next two days. http://www.futuroscope.com . The park sounds amazing. Have a look at the web site.

Hi kids:
Carcasonne sounds like a lovely place. I am glad you chose a nice spacious hotel after your mini flat.
The boys should have a great time.
I have made a note of Kate Mosse's book and will try and get it from the library.
I forwarded your email to your siblings as a reminder.
I got an email from the World Youth Day organisers today telling me I have two Canadian Priests staying with me from the 9th to the 13th July so they should keep me on my toes for a few days.
Our top temp today was 13deg. so it looks like winter is on the way. Not much rain at all here but other places have done really well.
I was talking to Carbs one day and he was enquiring all about your trip. He looks good.
Carmel is still getting over her trip. She was very tired, but delighted she made the effort.
It is 10.00pm so I am heading for the bed.
Good night and God bless you all.
Love, Ma.
